Workspace setup
Name your workspace, set the default language, invite teammates, and pick the right defaults before you go live.
A workspace is the container for one brand's automations, contacts, inbox, and billing. Before you build automations, spend a couple of minutes getting the workspace shape right — it saves cleanup later.
When you create the workspace
You'll see this screen on first signup, or anytime you click Create workspace in the sidebar.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Workspace name | Your brand or shop name. Visible to teammates in the sidebar and on invoices. |
| Default language | The language for system messages and email digests — Thai, English, Indonesian, or Vietnamese. Doesn't restrict what your DMs say. |
| Workspace logo (optional) | Square image, at least 256×256px. Shown in the sidebar and on invite emails. |
You can change any of these later in Settings → General.
Picking the right default language
The default language affects:
- The language of system messages inside the inbox (e.g.
Conversation auto-closed after no reply for 24 hours). - The language of email digests and billing alerts.
- The starting language for new automation templates (you can override per flow).
Pick the language your team is most comfortable reading, not the language of your customers. Your DMs can be in any language regardless.
Multiple workspaces
You can be a member of multiple workspaces with the same email. Use multiple workspaces when:
- You manage more than one brand and want them billed separately.
- You're an agency running Tuku for clients.
- You want a sandbox workspace for testing automations on a low-traffic TikTok account.
Switch between workspaces from the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.
For multi-brand operators staying under one bill, Pro lets you connect up to 5 TikTok accounts in one workspace, and Enterprise supports custom volumes beyond that — see Plans & pricing for the breakdown.
Recommended defaults for a new workspace
Before you build your first automation:
- Set your timezone under Settings → General → Timezone. Wait blocks and analytics use this.
- Upload a workspace logo. Teammate invite emails feel less spammy when there's a brand mark.
- Add at least one sensitive keyword under Settings → Handoff rules. Even just
refundorคืนเงินis enough — it routes upset customers to humans by default. - Set notification preferences under Settings → Notifications. We recommend
Desktop on, Mobile on for Mine, Email digest for one teammate.
Connecting TikTok
Once the workspace is set up, the next step is Connect TikTok. The bot can't read a comment or send a DM until the creator account is connected.
